Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2019 Lexus LC 500?
The NHTSA has issued 16 recalls affecting the 2019 Lexus LC 500, primarily for fuel system and stability control components. The largest group is fuel pump-related recalls (11 entries) and several fuel tank recalls (4 entries), plus one stability control recall that concerns the brake booster pump. These recalls note risks including engine stall and possible fuel leakage and, in one case, increased fire risk; remedy parts and dealer repairs are provided by Lexus/Toyota at no cost.
How do I check if my 2019 Lexus LC 500 has an open recall?
You can check your vehicle's recall status immediately by entering your VIN at NHTSA.gov or by contacting Nalley Lexus Roswell for a free VIN check. If you prefer dealership assistance, call or bring the VIN to Nalley Lexus Roswell and our factory-trained technicians will confirm open recalls and next steps. If you want to book a visit, schedule service online and we will verify recalls and perform any required manufacturer repairs at no charge.
How much does a 2019 Lexus LC 500 recall repair cost?
Recall repairs for the 2019 Lexus LC 500 are free of charge when performed under the manufacturer's recall program. Nalley Lexus Roswell performs these recall repairs using OEM parts and factory-trained technicians at zero cost to the customer. If you have questions about related maintenance or optional repairs, check our service specials or ask about our service financing options so you can get service now and pay later.
Can I get my 2019 Lexus LC 500 recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Manufacturer recall repairs must be completed by an authorized dealer to guarantee OEM parts, factory diagnostics, and proper warranty/recall fulfillment and documentation. Independent shops may perform non-recall maintenance, but recall work is handled by Nalley Lexus Roswell or another certified Lexus dealership to ensure compliance and free remedies. For verified factory repairs and peace of mind, schedule service at our Roswell facility — repairs are free and documented with the manufacturer.
How long does a 2019 Lexus LC 500 recall repair take?
Turnaround time varies by recall: many fuel-pump and fuel-tank remedy replacements typically take a few hours to a day, while inspections or part-availability issues can extend that time. Nalley Lexus Roswell provides estimated wait times when you schedule appointment, and we prioritize safety recalls to minimize your downtime. If remedy parts are not yet available for a specific expansion recall, we will notify you and offer interim safety guidance; check our service specials for comfort options while you wait.
Does an open recall affect my 2019 Lexus LC 500's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can negatively affect trade-in and resale value because many buyers and dealers verify NHTSA records before purchase. Having recalls remedied at an authorized dealer like Nalley Lexus Roswell protects value and provides documented proof the defect was corrected with OEM parts and factory-trained techs. To learn your vehicle's market impact and to protect value, start a free recall check with us and consider a valuation at our trade-in/appraisal page.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2019 Lexus LC 500 recall?
Open recalls themselves are not always listed as inspection failures, but safety-related defects (like a failed stability control or brake-assist issue) can lead to inspection or registration complications in some states. Because several NHTSA recalls for the 2019 Lexus LC 500 address braking, stability control, and fuel-system safety, it is safest to have recalls completed promptly to avoid inspection or insurance issues. Bring your vehicle to Nalley Lexus Roswell for a free check and to schedule service — ask about our service financing if needed.
