8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2021 Lexus RX 450h?
The NHTSA database shows 2 recalls affecting the 2021 Lexus RX 450h related to the air bag system. Both notices reference air bag component failures: one involves a potential inflator leak that can reduce knee air bag inflation, and the other involves pressure or acceleration sensor failures that can prevent side/curtain or front air bags from deploying. These recalls were reported to NHTSA and list manufacturer's corrective actions, which dealers provide free of charge.

Check our current offers and wait options at service specials and call ahead for express availability in Roswell, Alpharetta, and the greater Atlanta area.
Does an open recall affect my 2021 Lexus RX 450h's trade-in or resale value?
Yes — unresolved recalls can reduce trade-in and resale value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records before purchase. Resolving recalls at Nalley Lexus Roswell with OEM parts and documented dealer repair records protects resale value and buyer confidence; you can start a trade appraisal at our trade-in page. We recommend getting recalls addressed promptly to maintain market value and simplify future sales or financing.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2021 Lexus RX 450h recall?
Open recalls typically do not by themselves trigger a failed safety inspection, but an unresolved recall that affects a required safety system (like airbags) can create inspection or registration complications in some states. Nalley Lexus Roswell recommends completing recall repairs to ensure your vehicle meets safety expectations and to avoid potential insurance or inspection issues. If you have concerns about inspection or insurance, schedule service and our service advisors will explain the steps and provide documentation of recall completion.
