Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2024 Lexus LC?
The NHTSA has issued 16 recalls that affect systems related to fuel delivery and stability control for vehicles in this family, including fuel pump issues (11 recalls), fuel tank issues (4 recalls) and one stability control recall. These recalls involve potential fuel pump failure that can cause engine stall, risk of fuel leakage that could lead to fire under rare conditions, and a brake booster pump issue that can deactivate vehicle stability control and reduce braking assist. Nalley Lexus Roswell can verify your VIN against NHTSA records and perform any manufacturer recall repair at no cost — schedule service today to confirm your vehicle’s status.
How do I check if my 2024 Lexus LC has an open recall?
You can confirm open recalls by checking the NHTSA database with your vehicle VIN or by contacting our service team; Nalley Lexus Roswell will verify your VIN for free and advise on next steps. Visit NHTSA.gov and enter your 17-character VIN for an official record, or bring your VIN to our service center and we’ll check it same-day and explain any required repairs. If a recall applies, we will perform the repair with OEM parts and factory-trained technicians at no charge — schedule service or view current service specials for added convenience.
How much does a 2024 Lexus LC recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are free of charge to the vehicle owner when performed under the recall campaign; Nalley Lexus Roswell performs all OEM recall repairs at no cost. If follow-up maintenance unrelated to the recall is recommended, we will explain any optional services before they are performed, and you can ask about our service financing options to pay over time. For scheduling and to confirm the free remedy availability, schedule appointment with our service team in Roswell, GA.
Can I get my 2024 Lexus LC recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be completed using the manufacturer’s specified remedy and are best performed at an authorized franchise dealer to ensure OEM parts and factory-trained technicians; Nalley Lexus Roswell is a certified Lexus franchise and performs recall repairs per Lexus instructions. Independent shops may not have OEM recall parts or the required manufacturer procedures; performing a recall remedy incorrectly can affect safety, warranty, and future inspections. To ensure the repair is performed correctly and to receive the free manufacturer remedy, please schedule service with our factory-trained team in Roswell.
How long does a 2024 Lexus LC recall repair take?
Most recall repairs for the affected fuel system or stability control components are completed in a few hours, but exact turnaround depends on the required remedy and parts availability; Nalley Lexus Roswell will provide an estimated time when you schedule service. For some campaigns parts availability was phased; if your VIN shows an open recall and parts are temporarily unavailable, we will document your vehicle and notify you as soon as the remedy arrives. We offer convenient waiting options, loaner vehicles when available, and service financing for additional repairs so you can get necessary work done now and pay later.
Does an open recall affect my 2024 Lexus LC's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can reduce resale and trade-in value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records; addressing recalls at a certified dealer like Nalley Lexus Roswell protects vehicle value and buyer confidence. We provide documentation showing completed manufacturer recall work, which helps when selling or trading the vehicle and avoids last-minute negotiation issues tied to unresolved safety campaigns. To protect value, consider getting recalls resolved promptly — you can begin the process by visiting our trade-in page at sell your car online or by scheduling service.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2024 Lexus LC recall?
Open safety recalls can affect inspection outcomes if they impact systems evaluated by state inspectors; recalls that deactivate stability control or reduce braking assist are likely to trigger inspection concerns. To avoid inspection failure and safety risk, have open recalls addressed at Nalley Lexus Roswell where our factory-trained technicians will perform the free remedy using OEM parts and manufacturer procedures. If you need a quick verification before inspection, schedule service and we will check your VIN and supply documentation you can present at inspection.
