How do I know when to change my oil?

Models that require only 0w-20 synthetic oil have been approved for extended oil change intervals of 10,000-miles/12-months (whichever comes first). However, it’s important that you monitor your oil level regularly and top off if needed. Additionally, any vehicles that are driven under “Special Operating Conditions” should have their oil changed ever 5,000 miles, regardless of oil type.
